In March 2022, I am starting an exciting new role with ArcelorMittal China as Carbon Neutrality Manager, responsible for decarbonisation initiates in China, including decarbonisation policy and regulation analysis, carbon accounting and benchmarking, low carbon roadmap and strategy planning, as well as investment in decarbonisation technologies. ArcelorMittal as the world’s leading steel company is committed to leading our industry’s efforts to decarbonise and have set out our ambitions – carbon neutrality by 2050.Prior to ArcelorMittal, I worked as a process engineer and senior industrial analyst with Hatch for 9 years, and afterwards with CRU (Commodity Research Unit) for about 5 years, where she led consultancy business in China and have a particular focus on steel, aluminium and sustainability.
