Build up local computer vision and machine learning team for AD perception algorithms development:-VRU(Vulnerable Road Users) perception algorithm development: bbox detection, classification, pose estimation and gesture recognition.- Deep generative model development and artificial data generation based data augmentation for vision perception.- Responsible for joint research activities with headquarter AD team and local partners (universities and startups) on perception topics.

- Tech-lead for Daimler's 2018 T2 Beijing AD license obtaining (First foreign OEM obtaining AD license): responsible for prototype vehicle buildup, sensor calibration, system integration&maintenance, onboard diagnostics, bug fixing, performance fine-tuning&optimization etc..- Tech-lead of Baidu AD system Apollo 3.0 source code review and analysis. In charge of tutoring on overall AD platform analysis, system architecture, deep dive of function modules, and final report.
