Caben is a subsidiary company of Artsana whose headquarter is in Italy and owns “Chicco” brand over the world with stroller, highchair, crib, walker, playard, bouncer, baby carrier and car seat etc. juvenile products and toy products as well. My job is to assist QA manager to handle all the quality issues in juvenile division, mainly including the following.- Review and finalize the inspection and testing checklist for new product during the development stage.- Evaluate the new product prototype with R&D engineer to try to find the non-compliance and solution. Communicate between headquarter, vendor and 3rd part lab (Intertek, SGS, BV and TUV) for the new product testing according to the relative regulations and internal requirements.- Attend the new item production pilot run and mass production, evaluate on the production quality control and drive vendor to improve.- Join in the 1st lot inspection of new items with QC and train QC for the inspection.- Communicate and verify QC’s rejected or on-hold inspection result to release shipment or rework, and lead vendor to investigate root causes for corrective/preventive actions.- Handle customer complaint, investigate the root causes with vendor and try to find the solution.- Audit vendor/supplier to evaluate their performance and find the opportunities to improve.- Make quarterly and yearly summary report to management regarding quality issues.

Tomy Shenzhen is a subsidiary company in China with headquarters in Japan. The main products are toys and baby items sold worldwide.In the 1st year, I supported MR (management representative – General Manager) to implement ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001:1996 system in the company and got accredited by DNV, at the same time, I joined in the social compliance audit for suppliers, later kept monitoring and maintaining the quality management system for more than 10 years and updated to ISO9001:2008 and ISO14001:2004.In the year 2005, MOD (Manufacturing Outsourcing Department) was established to handle the transferring items from Tomy Thailand to China, and I was appointed as the team leader (One engineer and one assistant) for this duty, after 2 years hard working, more than 300 items were transferred smoothly and more than 30 new items were developed successfully, I got recognition from the management and was promoted to supervisor.From the year 2009 to 2011, I led a team to transfer items to Vietnam factories for production and supported the factories in Vietnam to improve the quality management and maintain good quality products.My main responsibilities in quality department are new product quality evaluation and vendor quality control, assuring the quality, safety and reliability of Tomy Shenzhen new and current products, including setting up new product standard, product development review at every stage, customer complaint handling, quality problem investigation, vendor survey and auditing, etc.

Peak is HK Company with factory located in Shenzhen, provide semi-conductor/IC package (tray/carrier tape/tube) design and products for some famous semiconductor brand company all over the world.I was responsible to handle new product development, transferring from design to manufacturing.• Plan the new product development schedule according to the 1st lot shipment requirement; negotiate with different department to ensure the product ship on time without any serious quality problem.• Qualify the tooling and raw material for new product manufacturing; communicate to mold shop to modify the tooling if it is necessary.• Test the new product according to customer’s requirement; find the way to solve the problem once non-compliance is found.• Release production based on testing result.• Improve the production line effectiveness and reduce the reject rate to acceptable condition• Join in the internal audit to maintain ISO management system.
