Greyland has offices in US, HongKong and Shanghai, it has over 40 years history on water recreation items. Major customers are US retailers like Walmart, Costco, Target and Amazon etc. I’ve been working in its Shanghai office as Senior Sourcing Officer since Nov, 2019. Items I sourced including: Kids/Outdoor/Indoor furniture, Hotel furniture, Inflatable items, Plush toys, Towels, Tent, Sleeping bag, Outdoor accessories and PPE etc. I also supported PD team for some projects. My main responsibilities are as below: New products sourcing. New supplier development, both domestic and overseas. NPD based on new templates made by designers from various clients. From vendor selection, price negotiation, sampling to 1st shipment. Hit target price via negotiation among different vendors, cost break down analysis, providing de-spec proposals etc. Assess market trend and competitors via attending Expo, online research etc.I've sourced more than 100 new items by communicating with over 50 new suppliers including overseas vendors. Reached the target prices given by clients. Establish initial biz relationship with several overseas vendors as a backup due to the tariff impact from US against China. Solve several infringement issues found online.Successfully launched the project of customized hotel furniture which is a brand new territory for our comapany. Visited potential vendors for on-site assessment to know the real status of each factory, e.g. production capacity, quality management level and R&D capability etc. Analysed the details of quotation of each product, from selection of finishing, MDF or plywood, construction, fabric, hardware and outlet to grade of MDF etc. Based on the overall analysis, proposed a balanced option pack which includes Upholstered Headboard, Nightstand, Desk w/ luggage bench & media panel which complies with the quality standards client requests and lower the FOB prices by about 15% than what they paid to their current vendors.

TNC is one of the US top 10 importer whose customers are famous retailors like WM, Costco, BBB etc. I'm the Merchandise Manager of its private brand "Airia Living". Categories handled by me including: innovative household products, travel pillow, silicone travel bottle, cosmetic bag, TSA luggage lock, travel adapter, Bluetooth anti-lost tracker etc. My main responsibilities are as below: NPD and project strategy set up. New supplier development and evaluation. Guide suppliers on sampling and tooling development based on spec/drawing made by designer. Advise reasonable modification of the product design, material selection and function options. Hit target price via cost break down analysis, providing de-spec proposals and negotiation. Identify, monitor and control risks Organize buying trip. Assign jobs regard order follow up to subordinate.I've developed over 30 suppliers and about 100 new products within 5 months. Pushed vendors to reach our target price and completed fine finish samples to help TNC getting lots of orders from retailers. Also we won the "Best Booth" of World Travel Show in Las Vegas in Mar,2019 based on these samples. The 3-year strategy of the BT luggage tracker gained thumbs up from my company the client.

  Bring new suppliers (local and foreign) and products in Wanda's B2B platform, Sharing Commerce Platform. I brought 30 suppliers and more than 500 products in the platform within three months. Categories including: cleaning ware (mop, brush, sweeper, cloth, table mat, glove), kitchen ware (dishes, pot, boiler), drinking ware (filter kettle, tumbler, cup with Bluetooth kit), lighting (led bulb，smartsense LED), sanitary (shower head, shower curtain, toilet lid), baby items, sporting items, stationery, food, imported goods etc. Manage purchasing projects via e-platform. My responsibilities including: sign three-party contract, register platform accounts for both merchant and supplier, collect requests from client and coordinate with suppliers, price negotiation, release goods on platform, order follow up, payment settlement. I’ve built solid e-commerce operation experiences through these projects.  Invite customers to attend The Annual Shanghai International Commerce Convention and facilitate site signing. I invited 21 companies and successfully signed 15 customers on the spot. The script of Q version small video I wrote received unanimous recognition. Drafted the introduction of supplier role of our platform and survey list for our booth.  Collect questions and system bugs in daily operation to support technical team upgrading the e-platform to provide our customers better user experience. I collected 45 questions and 50 suggestions which made great value for both technical team and BD team.  Draft the e-platform contract templates. I drafted various versions of contract templates which including two-party contracts, three-party contracts and letter of intent etc.

Widen the product scope of Quickie and Spontex by developed many new innovative items. Helped the company to reduce procurement costs continuously. Improved quality management of suppliers to ensure low defective rate and on-time delivery so we can gain better customer satisfaction.
