Hi, everyone, I am Florence Chen. Originally I'm from Chongqing and now lives and works in Beijing. My major in college is English linguistics(Minzu University of China, University of International Business & Economics). After graduation, I worked as international sales for high-intensity sweeteners(Ace-K, Aspartame and Sucralose) from 2009 to 2021 in Vitasweet Co., Ltd., which is a top producer in synthetic sweeteners. From Sep. 2021, I worked as sales manager in Refine Biology, which produces natural sweeteners and botanical extracts: erythritol, stevia, botanical extracts(like rhodiola rosea extracts, ginger extract, scutellaria extract, milk thistle extract etc). In those 14 years, I got rich experience on food/beverage/healthcare/pharmaceutical ingredients and ability to deal with various international trade issues.From May 2024, I switched to work in LX International for coordinating steel trade business and fostering new business development on minerals. It is challenging yet fun to work in energy and resource sectors and I really enjoy being the helper of communication/trade business between cultures.
