Dr. Zhihao Liu is currently serving as an Engineering Service and Consulting Engineer at Siemens (Siemens DI Software).His primary responsibilities revolve around the simulation of EV batteries at both the Cell and Pack levels. His expertise spans from 1D modeling (including Electro-thermal modeling, RCR equivalent circuit model identification, etc.) to 3D analysis (such as Battery pack 3D CFD+CHT analysis with a two-phase refrigerant cooling system). He also engages in projects that involve coupling 1D and 3D analysis.In addition, Dr. Liu conducts thermal fluid analysis (1D and 3D) in vehicle engine compartments and e-motors. He also has experience in modeling soil behavior using the Discrete Element Method (DEM).Recently, he has developed an interest in Model-Based Design (MBD) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and has been actively participating in related projects to further his knowledge in these areas. Furthermore, he is committed to enhancing his project management skills through continuous learning.
