• 2007 – First came into contact with architectural lighting design industries as an editor in an Italian trade media firm based in Beijing. • 2010 – Entered into Lighting art industry and became a curator for “Switch On Beijing” International Lighting Arts Festival. • Determined to invite renowned international artists and to raise the standards of lighting art in China, and creating a showcase to springboard the festival to the world with wide media coverage. • Each year, “Switch On Beijing” International Lighting Arts Festival draws a crowd of 200,000 visitors, and received accolades with wide media coverage including CCTV and BTV. • Inspired by International artists that translated light and technology into expressive art that captivated and fascinated audiences of all ages. • Also became an artist with lighting art installations showcased at the festivals each year. • During the next 4 consecutive years, my main role was the festivals’ planner, executioner, curator as well as an artist with an art installation each year. • I was also invited to attend foreign festivals as a cultural exchange. • From 2013-2015, I introduced bringing the lighting festival from a government cultural project to a commercial project by organizing “TaiKoo Li Light Festival” at Sanlitun Taikooli, shopping mall to bring these arts closer to the audiences.
