I'm Kia Yang, in charge of Asia Pacific Telecom IP backbone team for over 17 years, over 19 years on ISP industry.I'm fully experience on internet exchange, service provider operation and service.Good skill and experience on IX/ISP/IDC backbone design/operation, traffic/cost analysis and optimize, and of cause Juniper/Cisco and other network products.My job duty is to provide customers a high quality, good experience of internet service, which also required a suitable cost control to maximize company revenue.In order to accomplish goals above, I observe and analyze daily traffic patten and applications trend, to adjust BGP routing policies and contact with external opportunities for peering or CDN on my own initiative, including Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Netflix and Akamai and etc.Good networking skills, like BGP and TE, and flexible mind make me being able to design whole internet backbone topology of Asia Pacific Telecom and also achieve network optimal.To acquire new knowledge and arising skills, I'm also join policy/technical activities and share my experiences with TWNIC/OPM and TWNOG actively.
