I have much more experience for material utilization . I can judge the cost from supplier that it is correct or not.Accomplishments :(1)negotiated with steel mill of Baosteel ,I have saved 330RMB/ton(excluded tax),lifecycle saving 162Million RMB .Negotiated with Benxi-POSCO , saved 310RMB/ton(excluded tax), lifecycle saving 268.7Million RMB. total saving in the whole lifecycle is 430.7Million RMB .(2) I had Created and built the steel service quotation structure process . Connect with function team of ME and SE to get the parts blanking 3D and CAD data for quotation. I had organized steel service center and stamping supplier to make material utilization . Change single die to progressive die: 15parts have been updated the blanking process .The total saving is 32.74RMB/car, Total project lifecycle saving is 53.25 Million RMB. (3) For the welding material handling cost,the handling cost is 10%~12% . I negotiated with suppliers and finally get a 5%-7% cost down. Total lifecycle saving is 9.71Million.(4) I negotiated with three supplier for the 2#welding ,3#welding ,Nuts&bolt welding ,CO2 welding and sealing welding saving .The total welding cost saving per vehicle 19.86RMB, Total lifecycle saving is 32.3 Million.

And tracking parts change ,parts trying out on the tooling .and tracking parts stamping process . Together with Product engineering and Manufacture engineering , to analyze the production try-out issues and cold stamping issues and Assembly welding issues , then, make much more understanding of material cold stamping function .Make the purchasing plan for stamping steel material. And make stamping steel material sourcing ,study , open bidding , negotiation ,release PO , tracking cost change list ,tracking idea list of saving .Preparing test material for new project ,as SGM ,SVW, SIAC.During this work experience time , my achievement is :Based on the parts status and size , I had organized suppliers meeting to optimize the material utilization and stamping process utilization . I suggested changing some of the blanking process from single die to progressive die. Through this useful way. We can improve 39% percentage of material utilization for some of parts. Take A-PILLAR OTR UPR LH as an example , material utilization is 61% before optimizing ,the utilization is becoming 100% with my suggestion . The cost reduction is 28RMB/set . and I have saved 17.36 M during the project lifecycle . With the negotiation strategy of “Quantity-Price ”structure ,setting a kit of other business and changing the storage place , Stamping suppliers were agreed with reduction of cost and saved more than 20 million RMB in project lifecycle .
