• Act as a lead engineer at Sub-Supplier to develop product at builds from early DFM stage till mass production smoothly; Be responsible for managing technical development, supplier management, Issue solving &yields improvement schedule, supplier capacity and supply planning, and for on time delivery, risk mitigation alternatives if evaluating of technical and business risks. • Manage development, selection, implementation & optimization of secondary operations for mechanical parts. Responsible for secondary operation process yields and capacity to meet program requirements. Secondary operations including punch, polish, hairline, sandblasting, painting, laser, ED, CNC, NCVM, Anodizing, assembly, bonding etc. • Fixture design, verification, approve for process, subassembly and inspection. • Process/SIP/SOP/Quality control plan Setting. Work with suppliers to define and refine the detail parameter and check points of each process in the NPI stage. • Responsible for root cause analysis studies and corrective action plan implementation in order to ensure the production and shipment smoothly. Manage tooling/process availabilities/risks on technique to support production/meet yield goal during ramp/sustaining stage. Establish quality targets and drive continuous quality and reliability improvements at suppliers. • Keep Innovation: Be innovative in changing working model to engage ODM in driving sub-tier vendors for execution excellence and issue resolving; Keep innovation in the mind, be able to drive for continuous improvement on manufacturing process and quality controlling; Keep exploring the new technologies of the industry, and be able to make proposal with biz case; Be able to share the best practices and LLs within the team, and take benefits from the sharing of others• Be responsible for identification, development, negotiation and management of existing and developing HP mechanical suppliers.

1. Use the Pro/e WF, Auto CAD to design and development of plastic/die casting part and sheet metal parts of the laptop’s system level. 2. Take lead to improve of project’s process capability in Flex factory end during the NPI stage, including assembly or manufacturing quality issue, related reliability test debug, Yield rate improvement, and tracking them until production smoothly. 3. Responsible for secondary operation process of ME parts including kick off, DFM, development, yields and capacity to meet production’s requirements. 4. Lead, define, and develop Quality and continuous improvement activities on site the sup supplier. a) Discuss, review and check the fixtures including the process fixture, CNC fixture, bonding fixture, the gaugeb) Tooling start DFM review, tooling trial shot issue resolved, and tooling issues tracking until tooling can been gone mass production. c) Review the Safe launch report and co work with OEM to resolve problem to improve the Yield Rate so that OEM can go to MP smoothly. d) Plan and tracking the shipment schedule with supplier to keep the shipment on timely during all the projects trial run stage. 5.
