Zhaoyang Zhang received his B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), Xi’an, China, in 2007. He visited the Department of Computer Science Centre, at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, from 2011-2012. He is currently working toward his Ph.D. in the Department of Applied Mathematics at NWPU. His current interests include linear and nonlinear feature extraction methods, pattern recognition, and remote sensing image processing.
