About 林沛暘 Linpy

- Pei-Yang Lin is currently the CEO of P-waver Inc. He got his Ph.D. from National Taiwan University in 2000. Dr. Lin has published 32 journal papers, 87 conference papers and 13 Taiwan patents. His main research topics are the active control, passive control, semi-active control, system identification, development/application of semi-active MR damper, shaking table test, structural health monitoring, benchmark structure and earthquake early warning system. From 2008, he held many projects about the development and application of earthquake early warning system. Including the “Application of EEWS for schools”, 17M USD funded be ministry of education and ministry of science and technology (2014~2018), which apply the EEWS for about 3500 schools. The “Hybrid EEW service for industry”, 16M USD Funded by ministry of science and technology, establish 94 on-site EEWS and combined regional EEWS from CWB to provided hybrid EEWS for industry (2016~2020). Until 2022, he provided EEWS for more than 10 high-tech fab, 40 buildings (residential, business, government buildings), 2 hospitals and high speed-rail (12 sets).
