Xie plays a pivotal role in the operations of T&J as he spearheads the Application and Research Center. He and His team, in their mission to assist internal and external clients in constructing or enhancing cell culture and fermentation processes, based on a data-driven approach.

Led the bioprocess application team to support the greater Chinese market.

Lead the team to help clients establish a new technology or optimize the old technology. For example, studies have been conducted on the production of PCV2 vaccine in packed bed bioreactors using PK-15 cells.

Application Specialist – BioreactorHe worked in the NBS & Gibco collaborating laboratory ( Yizhuang， Beijing, 2009-2011 ) to optimize the medium and cell culture experiments in bioreactors. Training for sales team； technical support for customs.

Responsible for helping clients optimize their cell culture systems ( medium and bioreactor technology).

Enhanced production of rabies virus by Vero cells through control of culture conditions in bioreactor system.
