1.coordinate design, test, weight, functionality, and the compliance with the customer requirements, the existing parts kit and the aviation-related regulations. 2.In the starting phase of a project , involved in the implementation of the company strategy by preparing business cases, benchmarks, requirement and performance specification. 3.Determine the project plan and the quality gates/mile stones for the Engineering area, ensure the compliance with the time, cost and quality targets defined by Development. 4.Ensure efficient project co-ordination, define and co-ordinate the project contributions to be made within development, manage the staff members of the Development Team and monitor the project. In critical situations, support the Development Team by taking adequate measures. Maintain a transparent monitoring on the achieved project progress. 5.Control the establishment of constructive overall concepts (layout and seats), the evaluation and reduction of risks as well as the preparation of the engineering CAD documents in 3D and 2D.Use sophisticated technical tools (e. g. DMU), secure the corresponding parts lists and organize the construction and testing of sample seats, a transparent change process and ensure the technical data transfer to the aircraft manufacturer. 6.Supervise the series start-up and transfer the responsibility of Development to the competent Liaison Engineering, and pass on your project experience to the Knowledge Management.
