• Oversee all aspects of factory auditing (ethical and technical) in China. Advise Talking Tables on factory suitability according to various customer requirements and industry standards, working with factories to create and close out Corrective Action Plans (CAPs). • On boarding of new suppliers, including new supplier assessment form, factory visit/internal audit, Sedex, BSCI linking and SAQ.• Coordinate the management of ongoing factory audits both internal and 3rd party (ethical and technical) of our supply base alongside the London Supply Chain team • Diary management and scheduling of factory audits and factory visits in advance of audits so we are prepared for annual re-audits well in advance.• Keep updated with factory audit information attached to supplier records for easy searching.• Work closely with factories ‘responsible person’. Providing advice, and guidance support through all audit requirements.• Ensure factories have a plan of continuous improvement to improve standards and go beyond the minimum requirements. Ad hoc visits to key suppliers in addition to audit preparation.• Negotiate with factories over payment for 3rd party audits.• Assist with booking audits with the relevant 3rd party auditor. • Attendance at audits as necessary.• Review 3rd party SMETA, BSCI and Technical Audit reports. • Work with factories to close out non-conformances (NCs).• Visit factories to conduct inspections after discussing the requirements expected from the factory related to audit standards.• Report back to UK team on factory status and progress to close out NCs through daily communication via email, phone calls.
