Hello, my name is Huang Haibo, from Guilin, China. As an experienced visual designer and XR application developer, my career spans over 20 years of creative exploration and technical practice. I am passionate about developing and customizing visual content for medical education and psychotherapy. My skill set includes advanced use of software like Maya, Unity, UE5, Adobe Suite, as well as cutting-edge XR equipment such as the Oculus series and Hololens 2.My background in visual design and 3D animation is rooted in early work with advertising production and television packaging. Before the advent of XR and AI, I amassed extensive professional experience, which has only been amplified by these technologies' arrival. However, it has also led me to ponder beyond creating aesthetically pleasing works—my wife is a psychologist, and our shared life in exploring digital mental health solutions has given me a profound understanding of a creation's significance to people's wellbeing today, especially post-pandemic. Designing with an ethical AI-driven creative logic and objectives will be a competitive edge in the future, particularly considering the importance of real-time, deep data interaction, data security, and whether the design's intent accounts for user health—all of which will determine the lifespan of a work.My first medical project, which involved observing surgeries in hospitals, reminded me of the realistic training in copying cadaver specimens during my fine arts academy days specializing in oil painting. Now, I apply this meticulous anatomical attitude to my visual work, creating movie-level realism that brings confidence to doctors and patients and helps enterprises enhance the sophistication of their quality.Through my portfolio, you will see my significant achievements in fields like medical and science popularization presentations, reflecting my ability to combine art with science.
