Responsible for Asia product development, lab management, other function teams support, and other technical support, cooperation, communication.Product Development: - Working with marketing and sales team on product development requirement and confirmation, transfer to technical and processing requirement. - Guide and design lab test for product design, prototype making, formula and material selection and evaluation, processing parameters choosing. - Cooperate with plant team for test trial planning and guide, material and people preparation, test trial key points clarification, provide processing design and requirement, test sample performance checking, until handover to plant team for commercialization with marketing and plant team’s confirming and accepting. - Discuss and share with other technical people, who are in headquarter R&D center and in other plants having many years development and production experience.Lab Management: - Built up the Asia Technical Center lab, including lab design and layout, test equipment confirm, supplier screening and selection, equipment and facilities installation. - Draft the test process and procedure, bring up test requirement. - Managing lab test schedule and daily work. - Cooperate with internal other test lab / plants resources, and qualify external 3rd party test lab for testing capability extension, meeting the test and analysis needs.Support: - Closely working with marketing and sales team, provide product developing feasibility (performance, cost, timeline), technical proposal and training.- Manage product comparison and analysis for sales tool making, better understand market trend, product positioning and for product development reference. - Provide technical analysis and processing improvement proposal to plant for production productivity improvement and product quality assurance.- Guide and support outside cooperation team for joint research efforts based on marketing, sales, or plant needs etc.

- Work with customers to get better understanding of the requirements, application and problems. Visit customers to collect voice of customer (VOC), including converter and end user, transfer VOC to technical criteria to guide products development. - Work out development plan, cooperate and coordinate with cross-functional, cross-regional team, make sure project on track and getting team members well understand the progress and status. - Design and develop new products construction, work out the matched product prototype, screen and evaluate raw materials and suppliers. Cooperate with suppliers to develop expected products.- Perform design of experiment, analyze and evaluate developed products, including products property study, application study etc.- Coordinate and guide the experiment performing, customer field trial test, scale-up production until product commercialization. Work with QA, manufacturing people for raw material evaluation, production process capability evaluation etc.

- Worked in company R&D center and factory in Korea for 9 months to do the research work and product development, learning the manufacturing management, techniques, production process and procedure. - Lead product development. Based on customers’ demand, improve product performance, processing properties, and color matching, optimize the formula & recipe. - Responsible for product quality assurance. Analyze and monitor product key properties and testing data to make sure production is in control. Product quality assurance daily work management. - Support manufacturing by customer visiting with sales and marketing people to collect customer requirement and help to solve customers’ application problems.
