I continue to be impressed by her ability to focused on the core issues in complex situations and her ability to think creatively and across boundaries, making connections across the various parts of Huawei. In a very short time, Haiyan could make timely decisions by balancing the need for action with optimizes use of data, intuition and expertise (I think that is key differential for Haiyan as a female leader in a High-Tech company :) . She lead Huawei University constantly scan the environment for growth potential and pursue these opportunities tenaciously, even in the face of significant risk and despite resistance. She develop mutual trust with people inside and outside of Huawei based on respect, integrity, positive regard and an appreciation of the uniqueness of every person. Haiyan is truly a force and an asset to the organization she works with. And she are so passionate about Huawei's capabilities and opportunities for impacting the world, and deeply believe in the quality and breadth of Huawei's exceptional capability. Even after I moved to Canada as HR analyst, I still been influenced by her idea & enthusiasm (via social media channel she ask team created: "Tiny U"). It was a pleasure to work with Haiyan."
