Meng Guo received his B.S. degree (2010), M.S. degree (2012) and Ph.D. degree (2016) in highway and railway engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He worked as a visiting scholar in civil engineering at the University of Texas at Austin for one year (2013-2014). His research and education activities are in the area of infrastructure materials and in particular about asphalt binder or bitumen, asphalt mixtures and flexible pavements. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on mechanism and multiscale evaluation method of interfacial interaction between asphalt binder and mineral aggregate.Dr. Guo’s research is concentrated in the following areas:1) The interfacial interaction between asphalt binder and mineral aggregate - mechanism & evaluation.2) The effects of polymers and inorganic fillers on the performance of asphalt binder and asphalt mixture.
