As a sourcing specialist based at Shanghai office, my main job includ two parts, develop new suppliers( including OEM projects and factory existing projects) and project management. Details as below:1. Find factories, and audit potential candidates on site, including assessing their production capacity & management condition. Also need assess their technical competence together with our SQE or design engineer.3. Drawing review, cost analysis and price negotiation.4. Organize DFM(Design for manufacturability ) meeting between design enginner and supplier, to check if anything need do adjustment before tooling.5. Follow up tooling and engineer samples status, do coordination when needed.
