    1. Worked in IT department. Leaded and managed three critical global projects and one local medium-size project, including the development of data information system, the management of production material recipe, the construction of production operation platform, the optimization of data acquisition and product tracking system, the real-time monitoring for one kind of machine, and the standardization of production business flow.Related reponsbilities were: setting up the project team, demand analysis, creating the project plan basing on Microsoft Project, leading the team to complete the development and testing, cross-sectional communication and issue fixing, and maintained the relationships with vendors (China, German and Malaysia) and technical cooperation. In most cases, worked as project manager also as BA, with lots of commutation with the production users on business level. Each work week, there were regular team meeting, communication meeting with vendors and weekly project report, also irregular meeting for issue fixing.2. Managed the execution of all projects within IT which has been registered in ServiceNow. Related reponsbilities were: helping PMs to complete registering, creating project plan basing on Microsoft Project and server connection, conducting the preparation for project phase switching, tracking whether these projects update the status, and project closure preparation (benefit realization, lessons learned, etc.). The project management within IT has become more efficient and well organized by much efforts above. 3. Continued managing the IT CAB which reviewed CRs, including collecting all CRs last week, organizing related people (site manager, domain manager, SME and BA) to attend the CAB meeting, tracking CRs status and making related report. In additional, communicated with other three branch company (Kaohsiung, KL and Bangkok) for experience sharing. These efforts decreased the issue rate greatly when CR implemented to production.
  • Freescale Semiconductors
    Project Manager
    Freescale Semiconductors Sep 2014 - Dec 2015
    Tianjin City, China
    1. Worked in IT department. Leaded and managed one critical global project: production material tracking and management based on RFID, including RFID hardware development, RFID data information system development, critical change of operation flow and the implementation for nearly 2000 machines. It was initiated by the GM of Freescale Tianjin and the Freescale IT Director, which was the first project with successfully tracking the production material in magazine level in all the semiconductor companies in the world.2. The difficulty of this project was not only to explore a series of RFID solution which was suitable to the special environment in a semiconductor factory, but also to coordinate the complex relationship between the production and IT, to reverse the attitude of the production from no support to full support, and to maintain the relationships with five vendors. Before September 2014, the original project solution provided by Malaysia Branch was full of issues for more than half a year, and faced lots of complains from production side. After September 2014, I was assigned as new project manager, proposed a total new solution based on volumes of on-site investigation and communication with production user, and developed a new project plan with five phases. The success of each phase obtained the acceptation of the production user, and the project proceeded with steady progress through to closure when the whole implementation was done for nearly 2000 machines.3. The success of this project obtained highly praise of the Freescale Manufacturing VP, the GM of Freescale Tianjin and the Freescale IT Director. The RFID auto-tracking system brought revolutionary changes to all Freescale Backend, which meant the material mixing was able to be fully prevented with it and the quality of all products in Freescale can be improved significantly. The success experience of this project has been shared to the other sites (Kaohsiung, KL and Bangkok) of NXP in 2017.
  • Deviser
    Embedded Software Leader
    Deviser Jun 2012 - Aug 2014
    Tianjin City, China
    1. Leaded the team to complete the driver development and transplantation of key platform OMAPL138, which was a dual-core processor (ARM+DSP) provided by Texas Instruments. The main contribution contained the PINMUX assignment, PLL management, power configuration management, Timer driver configuration, SDRAM and DDR2 configuration and the driver of EDMA, EMIF, UPP and I2C. A uniform UBL driver program has been developed by the efforts above and made the OMAPL138 platform can be wide-used. 2. Leaded the team to complete the development of DSP algorithm of a key product in television instrument field, with the hardware OMAPL138 platform and the DSP/BIOS embedded real-time system. The main contribution contained the ADC sampling algorithm based on an Spartan-6 FPGA from Xilinx, the connection configuration between DSP and FPGA with the high-speed interface EMIF and UPP. One key product has been developed with the algorithm above, which helped the company to develop the markets in Spain and UK.3. Obtained the Software Design Award in 2013, which can be given only three persons in a year.
  • Tianjin Photoelectricity Group Co. Ltd
    Project Manager

    1. Leaded the IoT project, which was the first project to explore the military-civil integration and welcome the age wave of IoT by the company and was initiated by the Group Technology Center. It included the wireless sensor network system and the intelligent parking lot based on RFID technology. The detailed work contained team management, project planning, key technology development and market investigation. • Developed a medium-sized wireless sensor network system based on the ZigBee protocol and CC2530 module, which can connect the PC, the tablet and the cellphone freely. • Developed an intelligent parking lot model based on HF and UHF RFID technology, which can control input/output management, recognize the car license and provide the quantity of remaining space. • Developed application reports for government fund and attended several IoT exhibitions. This project brought the company much valued technology experience and assets for the exploring to military-civil integration field. Obtained the honor of outstanding project manager in 2011.2. Competed the demand analysis, the development of hardware and firmware and the testing of control module as the embedded software engineer in a military project. The control module worked with the ARM-9 processor , the peripheral interfaces including USB, RS232 and GPIO, and the HMI interface 7-inch touch screen.
  • Tianjin 764 Communication & Navigation Technology Co. Ltd.
