Be responsible for CAR-FRESHNER Corporation, USA, and Young Electronics Group, UK, purchasing, new product developments, quality control and supplier management.Source potential suppliers and strengthen supplier database to provide alternative supply options.Perform factory site audits and arrange factory evaluation report, and advise most suitable potential supplier list are selected for targeted new projects. Proactively advise information or issues that may impact the project costs or manufacturability. Assist with new product development, and prepare groundwork to help achieve competitive prices from suppliers, assist negotiations and draft quality control plans to develop suppliers. Draft and develop the appropriate Inspection Procedures and Inspection Methods/Standards files. Assist NPI activities by participation in the AQP process.Arrange inspection plans, prepare Inspection report and photos to headoffice, provide insight and assistance of implementing and maintaining Process Improvement and Optimization concentrating on proactive methodologies with the supply base.Negotiate with suppliers to solve quality or all other problems in a timely manner, before or after shipments, advise US office solutions.Collect and review all supplier discrepancies, coordinate and track the corrective/preventative action effort, including instructions guidelines are implemented timely.
