IMFエコノミスト、日本銀行国際局・金融市場局審議役、同金融研究所長、一橋大学国際公共政策大学院特任教授などを経て、現在、武蔵野大学グローバル学部教授。この間、OECD資本市場委員会委員、BISグローバル金融システム委員会委員、JICA専門家、統計数理研究所NOE形成事業顧問、高松市観光大使などを歴任。1959年生まれ。留学生の就職支援に関心あり。Experiences as an economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Director-General of the Bank of Japan, Professor of Hitotsubashi University, a committee member of the OECD and the Bank for International Settlements, an advisor for the NOE of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics, an expert for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and a tourism ambassador for Takamatsu city. My interest includes international finance, monetary policy and career support for international students in Japan.
