After completing graduate school, he joined Showa Polymer Co., Ltd. in April 1997, where he was involved in the development of thermosetting resin technology and research and development of ultraviolet-curing resin. In December 1999, he was transferred to the Osaka branch, where he worked on sales to existing customers and new business creation. In Osaka, he proposed in-house capital investments for carbon SMC and developed new LCD materials. In July 2006, he was transferred to the head office, where he was involved in launching a business for LCD materials, proposing in-house capital investments, and overseas sales to China and Taiwan. In July 2010, the company merged with Showa Denko, and he continued to work on sales to existing customers and new business creation, leading co-creation activities in the chemical business division and also engaged in product marketing for basic chemicals and functional monomers. In October 2013, he was seconded to a local Chinese subsidiary, where he was involved in managing subordinates, import and export trade, marketing, and new business creation. He also worked on establishing internal regulations for the local Chinese subsidiary, making capital investments in the local manufacturing subsidiary, and launching new businesses. In March 2019, he returned to his post and transferred to the department responsible for company-wide strategic planning, where he engaged in corporate marketing work. He engaged in cross-organizational marketing activities from a company-wide perspective and new business creation in the electronics field. In January 2021, he transferred to the technology strategy department, where he is currently engaged in cross-organizational business creation activities from a technology perspective.
