Organize quality, finance, technology, legal dept to assess supplier’s quality management, financial, professional capability, and qualify supplier after comprehensive assessment in qualification, capability, small lot test. In Brazil, I led procurement team to qualify 15 suppliers within 3 months, including outputting business process, coaching the new employee, guiding the qualification business, and coordinating other dept to join the qualification. Efficient qualification provided enough and good supplier for delivery.2. Supplier selection:organize to analyze the purchasing requirement, and communicate sufficiently with suppliers. Decide the long list, short list, make reasonable supplier selection strategy, send the bid, negotiate, sign the contract, make sure to select the optimal supplier fairly. I selected excellent suppliers, accelerated the delivery and achieved the business decline target in Indonesia warehouse frame bid (reduce the cost by 9%), Malaysia indoor business frame bid (reduce the cost by 7%) and Brazil drive test frame bid (reduce the cost by 15%).3. Supplier management: manage supplier performances, solve the problem during the delivery. Assess and classify suppliers, make development and management strategy for supplier to help supply improve, and promote the win-win cooperation. In Malaysia, I managed the supplier by monthly horse racing, which developed a good competitive environment, improved the delivery quality and speed (the delivery efficiency improved 10%-15% generally), meanwhile, help the supplier to solve the payment problem, which had affected the relationship of huawei and supplier for a long time, and improved better cooperation with each other, supported Malaysia subsidiary achieving 2015 challenge target.
