I had been in charge of integration and implementation of several things related audio algorithm such as codecs, and effectors.This company was starting point of my career and according to Korean alternative military service system, I could also start my military duty by working for this company.Development platform was TI DSP and DM642 was the primary ICs which I handled. I coude have learned and experienced how to implement audio algorithms in fixed-point during this period since DM642 was fixed-point DSP.Specific my tasks at Addpac Technology1. Implementation and integration of MP3 Encoder & Decoder - fixed-point implementation including psychoacoustics model - optimization for DM6422. Implementation and integration of G.729 Encoder & Decoder - The first experience of developing voice codec - Integration target board was TI omap3. PESQ - VOIP quality measurement standard - optimized reference source code by utilizing fast version of FFT without losing calculation accuracy - application was used on window PC4. Implementation and integration of BSAC Decoder - Korean TDMB standard audio codec - Most part of codec was based on AAC except arithmatic coding
