In the field of embedded systems, I am a expert in both S/W and H/W.In Samsung Electronics, I've been responsible for S/W needs analysis/design/implementation and platform development for various products, such as vacuum cleaner robot, system air conditioner, and convergence products. Since 2003, starting as a H/W engineer, I've obtained an expertise in H/W through jobs such as circuit design, reliability validation, and domestic and foreign certifications. These experiences allowed me easily to develop and understand the whole system in the following years. After changing my job to S/W, I am responsible for board bring up, bootloader porting, Linux driver development, and MCU platform structure design and development. Especially, finding functional and non-functional properties of the S/W and H/W in the needs analysis stage, doing architecture design and development considering the quality properties required by a system, analyzing the potential defect of the developed code through static and dynamic analysis, improving the development infrastructure using debugging utilities, improving the S/W quality by standardization and commonization were the key jobs that I have done.
