CurrentBroadcom Korea Jan. 2008 – July.2012FGDL Project Leader (Jan, 2014 ~ July.2021)FGDL is a Foreground Downloader specified by Synamedia for HDI/CDI projects.Defined FGDL SPECs with Synamedia.Scheduled FGDL release date with Synamedia, OP and Manufactures.Booted MIPS/ARM CPUs as to the FGDL security process for FGDL.-Modified Bolt/CFE for FGDL boot(Flash/Ethernet).-Ported RTOS(uCos)for Mips and Cortex-A series.-Modified MMU table for each FGDL project.-Supported customer’s FlashImplemented FGDL glue for all chips with a global team.-Modify magnum for FGDL glue.-Fortends, MpegII transport, 2D graphic, Ethernet, USB, Moca, etcManaged FGDL packages on release server and notified the release to FAEs.Supported customer issues.-Bug fix in the FGDL layer.-Cowork bug fixing with bolt/magnum team.Participated in individual meetings with each customer and OP.Reference SW AE(Jan,2008 ~ July.2021)Reference SW AE to support customer projects in Humax and Kaon. Presented new STB chips and new functions(AV Codecs, Display format etc) to customers with Sales and FAEs.Participated in customer meetings on a regular basis to handle customer requirements.Recreated customer issues on reference board with reference sw.-KAT(Korea AE Team) application was implemented by myself fully.-Many simple examples were implemented to be shared with reference nexus/magnum teams to handle customer issues.Led analyzing customer issues and finding solutions for Humax and Kaon projects.-Debugging nexus(porting layer)/magnum(device driver) for issues related to MpegII transport/MpegII video/AVC/Dolby/graphics/tuner/pvr etc.-Debugging linux for issues related to HDD/USB/Ethernet/Wifi/Bluetooth etc.Led coworking with a global team to supply proper solutions for Humax and Kaon projects.
