* Demand planning- Forecast the demand discussed with Sales accounts and product marketing for the accuracy by having long-range forecast demand and monthly review meeting for late delivery.- Manage open orders/ backlogs.* Production Planning- Manage MPS system with the slot plan set and escalations.- Set the priority of orders to build based on the worldwide meeting.- Release Work order to shop floor.- Communicate with the customers to share the status the products requested.- Review the output planned and root causes of the variance if needed.* Product management- Dissect Bill Of Material-- Existing products: Check the changes on designs, parts, functions, uses of the products by BOM analysis and set cut-in time for the changes in production line.-- New Products: Lead new projects releasing the new products by co-working; Engineering, and product team for Design, Manufacturing and Quality for functionality, and Buyers and logistics team for the parts ready.Set the build plan based on the customer's request and check the status to share with customers.Have Trouble shooting if needed.* Set Routing for the parts- Input Routing data to match with GL based on the actual time of assembly.* Trouble shooting- Check the unexpected issues during the assembly and solve that out cross-functionally.* Inventory management.- Make manufacturing team continue to build without any missing parts.- Manage parts attributes setting supply type.- Set the re-order point for the parts and Safety stocks.- Manage slow moving parts* New projects- Lead to transit a production line to Contracted Manufacturer- Set the layout of the Contracted Manufacturer and check the quality of the products built from Contracted Manufacturer cross-functionally.- Map out a detailed build plan for new projects by weekly meetings to minimize discrepancy against BOM prior to shipping.

* Demand planning- Replenishment tool management with forecasts based on actual sales data, inventory level, and S&OP.* Inventory Management- Maintain suitable on hand stock, and safety stock to cover unexpected fluctuation based actual consumption- Inventory Turn Management by Setting up an action plan for handling slow moving inventory after cross-functional discussion with related people in charge.* Logistics- Main origin of suppliers: China, Taiwan, India, Singapore, USA, Germany, France.- Purchase order placement: Purchase order placement to vendors based on lead time, inventory status, and etc.- Order tracking and scheduling: Control of orders placed to have them correctly by expediting or delaying orders in daily communication after checking shipping/ production/ inventory details with global suppliers and 3PLs.- Freight cost management: Negotiate with forwarders, warehouse, and others and reduce unnecessary cost.- Month/Quarter/Year end closing: Check Freight cost charged for imports with finance team.* Custom’s affairs- Handle the tax refund from FTA certificates and Certificates of Origin.* Compliance works- Manage test reports (MSDS, PDS/TDS, RoHS, SVHC, etc.)* Production planner- Work order placement: Generate Work order to floor shop and sequence work orders after considering minimized cost loss, customer special needs and maximized productivity.- Inventory Management: Arrange raw materials needed for finished goods to each site.
