Equipment Tech Engineer will be part of a technical team responsible for engineering work that includes continuous improvement, investigating and troubleshooting equipment/manufacturing/facility problems, analyzing production results, implementing and improving manufacturing methods and processes, and ensuring high yield and productivity in a highly automated manufacturing environment.An equipment tech. engineer ensures continuous process improvement and maintain machines through teamwork and clear communication. Co-work with production and process engineers and relative teams for success in the team’s goals and for future opportunities- Design, control, and provide modification and improvement of the equipment.- Trouble shooting and solving problems on the chronic errors/trouble.- Find root cause analysis and reporting of major errors.- Monitor and ensure running machines continuously to reduce breakdown time.- Co-creation of documentation of the all the machines - creating and updating trouble shooting, work instructions, identifying problems, providing information about the course of the machine operation / maintenance during a shift and implementing preventive solutions.- Support for production and maintenance in solving technical problems.- Ensure compliance to safety and environmental regulations.- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, maintenance and inspection personnel.- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.- Practical knowledge and willingness to further develop in the area of mechanics / electrics /pneumatics. and controls.- Implements strategies to improve equipment uptime and availability.

- Reviews EV Charging products and Quality plans, process and procedures and ensures their implementation Coordinate multiple teams of installers and create project schedules- Ensures products meet the organizations and customers’ quality requirements- Inspects and tests materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met- Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades/ revisions to a broad range of equipment, ranging from Level 2 EV chargers to DC Fast Chargers(220V to 980VDC)- Responsible for the EV charging station projects for installation, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and software updates on EV charging units of various makes and models- Troubleshooting to identify root cause of problems affecting the proper operation of various hardware- Perform component level diagnostics, utilizing laptop, DMM, phase meters, and other tools, to diagnose failed units and determine required repairs- Use various test equipment/fixtures in support of the continuous improvement of the test process and improve test equipment and procedures to capture full test coverage of products and relevant assemblies- Interface with customers and EV drives to understand details of reported problems and perform remote diagnostic tasks- Analyze charger performance via review of various reporting portals-Diagnose failures all the way to component level, identify technical problems and determine procedure to - repair electric vehicle charging equipment (remotely and in the field)- Complete all remedial service actions, standard system checks, and required hardware and Control console software upgrades in accordance with approved policies and procedures
