I used to study life science using model animals as a Ph.D student and Post Doc. I has been employed as Tenure track Staff at KAIST since 2013 and as a Senior Engineer position at the Graduate School of Medical Science and Engineering (GSMSE) and the Bio Medical Research Center (BMRC). I am in charge of department technical staff at the GSMSE and the chief core facility manager at the BMRC. I am basically in charge of research safety management. Also I am in charge of design and establishing and operating a new Core facility, managing research equipment and conducting experimental education at the BMRC.From 2016, Metabolism Core Facility, In Vivo Imaging Core Facility, Genomics and Single Cell preparation Core Facility, Flow Cytometry Core facility, EM & Histology Core Facility and Proteomics Core Facility are being established and operated in the BMRC on my initiative. Also, In KAIST, planning of the new campus for KAIST Medical Science Institute is currently underway to build in 2nd campus area in Daejeon.I am currently working as Member of Promotion Council for the KAIST Medical Science Institute to design new campuses and introduce new facilities for future sciences.
