I joined HP partner company, CNI Information & Communication in October 2003, and for 2 years and 6 months, I worked at Yahoo Korea IDC, managing server, facility, and infrastructure support tasks. In June 2006, I officially joined the Yahoo Korea Systems Operations Team. As part of the data center operations team, I took on managerial roles such as operating Linux-based servers, managing outsourcing personnel, purchasing and inventory management, vendor management, infrastructure design, and facility issue resolution. From 2009, I was incorporated into the APAC Storage & Data Protection team, which provided me with opportunities to broaden my horizons. I primarily oversaw the operation and management of NAS/SAN storage in Yahoo data centers worldwide with overseas team members and handled Data Protection/DR tasks for disaster preparedness and emergency recovery. In June 2015, due to my parents' health issues in my hometown, I moved to Busan and joined Atos SE, where I was responsible for operating and managing data centers. In May 2016, I was recognized for my performance and tasked with building a new data center in Seoul, leading to the expansion of my role as a manager and trainer. Since June 2017, I have been serving as the team manager of the Seoul Data Center Operations Team under Microsoft Global Datacenter Operation.
