Product Specialist
CurrentProduct specialist for API pums such as OH2, OH3, BB1~3, BB5, VS1, VS4, VS6- Providing daily technical support to sales in the centrifugal pump business (Industrial Vertical Turbine Pumps) including costing, bid preparation, and product development, and field service to provide technical solutions for customers.- Perform hydraulic pump selections based on customer data sheets and specifications- Develop product standards, procedures, and specifications, integrating features into company's proprietary quoting software based on customer research, sales, and market input - Determine product and buy-out cost estimates interfacing with sub-suppliers and vendors- Work with R&D and hydraulic engineers to coordinate live order development, analysis, and design to fully meet customer's requirements.- Work with production, assembly and testing, as required, to resolve technical and contractual issues to meet customer's requirements.- Troubleshoot field issues to determine resolution with aftermarket and warranty group.- Prepare promotional product newsletters and presentations including customer and pump school training for sales. Provide software tutorials and training for factories to streamline quote precess.
