I joined NREL in August 2022 as a postdoctoral researcher in the Interfacial Materials Chemistry group in the Chemistry and Nanoscience center. I have worked on the design of functional nanomaterials and investigation of correlation between material properties and electrochemical energy storage performance. I'm currently involved in the silicon consortium project where I'm focusing on the electrode architecture of silicon anodes and the effect on the cycle/calendar life of silicon based full cells. My doctorate work focused on the synthesis and characterization of carbon-based nanocomposites for electrochemical energy storage including supercapacitors, Li-ion batteries, and Li-S batteries.
