1984년도 부터 8Bit 컴퓨터를 시작하여 지금까지 안다뤄본 기종 없다1994년 우리나라 Linux 가 최초 도입할때부터 모뎀으로 Linux 커널을 다운받아 어렵게 우리나라 최초의 리눅서 인듯하다.대학교 시절 한양대학교 Linux 동아리 HLUG 를 창립하였고 1기로 활동 하였다.다음커뮤니케이션에 입사하여 썬마이크로 시스템즈를 Linux 전환을 포털내에선 우리나라 최초 한것 같다다음커뮤니케이션시절 LB 성능이 형편 없었던 시절 Linux LVS를 도입하고 튜닝하여 최초로 대규모 트래픽을 LVS로 소화해 냈다SK커뮤니케이션즈에 입사하여 네이트온 성능을 이끌어 내어 최초 FreeBSD 의 kqeue (Linux epoll과 같은)을 활용하자 하여 엄청난 동접 트래픽을 받아 내었다글로벌 싸이월드 중국/베트남/대만/일본 에 진출하여 각 인프라를 안정화 하고 설계하였다카카오에 입사하여 카카오의 Anycast 방식 DNS (아마도 우리나라 최초) 를 도입하고 GSLB 전문가로 각 글로벌 트래픽에 최적화 하였다카카오에 빅데이터 조직을 셋업하여 다음-카카오 합병후 모든 데이터를 모은 카카오공용하둡을 창시하였다카카오페이에 카카오페이증권 인프라를 모두 설계하고 셋업하였다카카오페이에서 Redis 이중화 DNS 구조개선 등을 하였다카카오엔터프라이즈에서 Kafka 구성 자동화등 을 하였다
