At BLUE ICE INC, a prominent trading and fishing company specializing in the export and import of frozen fish from Russia to the USA, I serve a multifaceted role that bridges various aspects of our operations.In my capacity, I engage in a dynamic range of activities that include:Seller, Buyer, and Trader Roles: I manage the full spectrum of our trading operations. As a seller, I coordinate with international buyers to negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring the smooth flow of frozen fish products from our suppliers to the market. As a buyer, I source high-quality fish from reliable Russian suppliers, carefully vetting them to maintain our standards of excellence. In my role as a trader, I balance supply and demand, optimizing our inventory and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.Volume Tracking and Reporting: I meticulously record the volumes of fish harvested by our Fishing Vessels (F/V). This involves close collaboration with our fleet operators to accurately track and report catch quantities, which is crucial for maintaining inventory levels and meeting contractual obligations.Documentation and Compliance: I am responsible for preparing all necessary export and import documentation, including customs declarations, shipping manifests, and compliance certificates. This ensures that all shipments meet regulatory requirements and are processed efficiently through customs.Logistics Coordination: From arranging transportation to managing shipping schedules, I oversee the logistics of getting our cargos from the ocean to our distribution centers. This includes coordinating with shipping companies, monitoring transit progress, and addressing any issues that arise during transportation to ensure timely and safe delivery of our products.Through my work at BLUE ICE INC, I have developed a deep understanding of the international seafood market, honed my negotiation skills, and built a robust network of industry contacts.
