- Regulatory Compliance: Identifying relevant laws (local and international), codes and standards applicable to Company's operations, introduced compliance obligations and procedures into daily processes and procedures, monitored compliance controls and compliance reporting, created and implemented corrective measures in the event of compliance breakdown. Due to effective administration of controls, monitoring and implementation of compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, company records with regulatory bodies/agencies were reconciled and default fees payable were significantly reduced by 99.9%.- Convening and coordinating statutory, general and board meetings.- Filing of statutory returns with regulatory agencies.- Providing legal support and legal advisory to the Board and the Board Committees.

- Identified legal pitfalls in contractual arrangements, effectively structured contracts to secure Company’s interests, recommended and negotiated best deals which led to the growth of the Company by the acquisition of marine assets and other viable investments.- Negotiated and drafted service level contracts for foreign service providers to ensure the seaworthiness of newly acquired vessels to enable safe passage into Nigerian territorial waters.- Facilitated and drafted specialized agreements for the issuance of provisional certificate of Registry for the passage of the Vessels across international waters.

Litigation: Drafted court processes and presented best arguments before the court, debt recovery, etcSolicitors practice: Drafted and negotiated commercial contracts including specialized contracts for technology services, shareholders agreements, software development transactions, insurance policies etc.

- Made necessary filings with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).- Secured relevant waivers for Company's operations- Reviewed and made recommendations on existing technical agreements with Nigerian and Foreign shipyards.- Attended to immigration matters for the seamless entry/arrival of expats- Provided Legal support and advisory to the Company Secretary and the Legal team.- Attended to the requirements of the Company and Allied Matters Act as it relates to Company Secretarial Matters.- Ensured compliance with local laws on labor related matters.- Prepared contractual agreements and Legal opinions to guide management in decision making.

Facilitated trainings and orientation seminars to sensitize Christians' groups, Churches and other Christian organizations on the need to resolve conflicts/ disputes amongst believers in a Biblical manner, without resort to conventional Court or Litigation, Press-wars or violence.
