These were families who had in most cases lost all ability to sustain themselves in the early months of occupation, had registered for assistance, had 3 or more children, may have had handicapped members of the family, and some who had lost a parent or parents. My program provided weekly support to 200 families for one year, during the most testing time for them. I was supported extensively by friends and family from many parts of the world. From March 2023 the aid coverage was increased to specifically search for groups and individuals with special needs in cities, locally in the east and south of Ukraine. This entailed collecting donations, conducting the purchase according to requests, coordinating drop off and sending goods to specific locations near the front line, then following up by providing financial and photo reports to donors.Aside from my aid work, I am Vice-President of our school Parent Teachers Organization. We provide organization and planning of monthly events for our school community in Kyiv.
