I have been married for 30 years, and the mother of two (nearly) grown children. Although I have never worked in an official classroom, I am a teacher at heart. After college, I worked in Sales Training as a meeting planner for a pharmaceutical company. While raising my children, I taught women how to preserve their family’s memories as a scrapbooking consultant. More recently, I began teaching people how to grind their own wheat to make homemade bread and prepare healthy meals for their families. I am an obsessive learner and have read over 50 books about the workings of the brain, the body, the gut, and nutrition in general. My current passion is studying the link between gut and brain health, and helping people understand that connection and thereby improve their own lives as well as the lives of their families.
