My name's Chris and I'm a digital marketer. I specialise in marketing automation, strategising and producing digital content, campaign management, and sales digitisation.I'm currently a Lead Marketing Automation Consultant at MarCloud, a Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and Salesforce consultancy. I know what it's like to work with disconnected marketing and customer data, so it's a real pleasure to help clients pull together and make sense of those insights, and of course harness it for effective, timely, and personalised marketing!I previously worked as marketing manager at a SaaS platform, and I loved it! Before that, I worked in-house as a content and marketing automation specialist at a recruitment company. Before that, I worked at a marketing agency as a content specialist. I've also done a load of freelance work over the years in everything from marketing consulting to technical SEO, to long-form copywriting.So I've done a bit of everything, but I definitely hang my hat on marketing automation, digital content, and lead-generation strategies.I was editor of 'A Love Supreme' the longest-running print fanzine in the UK.I've written for international media including The Guardian, The Times, FourFourTwo, BBC Sport, and ESPN. I've also collaborated on features with the New York Times, BBC, and more regional publications than you can fit in an industrial pulper machine.My first book 'Six in a Row' was published in 2016, and my mam still hasn't read it.I've been into SEO since 2012, first working on client campaigns at an agency, before working in-house on long-term strategies.I'm a Certified Pardot Consultant, which means I'm just as handy producing long-form content, landing pages, and email marketing as I am diving into the CRM and finding new outbound opportunities. Analytics is also something I do daily, whether that’s producing reports for stakeholders or refining campaigns based on what works and what doesn’t!Outside of work I'm a pop star, but you don't need to know about that.
