My lecture "All the way to Space" - is a sensitive and inspiring lecture, where I share my personal story, the story of a girl who traveled alone every day for almost two and a half hours distance to school, dance lessons, English lessons (even in minus 30 degrees) and back to an empty and dark house. “In Ukraine, at the age of 13, after my father's death, I discovered that I was the only Jewish person out of 1000 pupils at the school I attended. At the age of 17 I made a brave decision to make Aliyah on my own.With determination, perseverance, and with a set goal in mind I made my way with my own two hands. From learning the first words in Hebrew to a doctorate at Ben-Gurion University, from loneliness at the absorption center in Carmiel to connecting with the Ramot family, from meeting Guy Hetz at a study bench who would later become my husband and we would build a house and Space Valley, I can safely say that my goals have been met.”
