Responsible for all low level embedded software on our Vertex One platform. - Maintaining and improving our OS on the NXP iMX6- Creating STM32 firmware and drivers- Communication between all internal MCU's- Setting up the architecture of the software to be modulair and future proof- Creating internal and external software documentation- Working together within a multi discipline team- Setting up the kernel drivers and user API on our NVIDIA Jetson platform- Providing production tooling to our workshop

Ive always wanted to explore new things and learn. Luckily due to my hobby/sport with Airsoft I could combine learning Fusion360 and Airsoft. I have designed multiple products and sold them within the Airsoft hobby in Europe. Working together with different teams within the European SpeedQB league to perfect the products. Although I am not very active within this industry today due to time, it did allow me to learn about product development, mechanical engineering and everything that comes lurking around the corner. I am currently not looking to pursue anything in this area. Although I still do some web development and custom firmware creation in name of Prytech. Maybe soon more? :)

I spent a year within the FC-042 team In Lotdata via Alten. I was quick in getting up to speed and delivering within my team. I have learnt a lot about the processes that are used to develop software in such a big company. However I would much prefer a smaller company to have more freedom and responsibility's. Thus I moved to Avular to seek a new challenge.

My graduation assigment was aimed at creating a robotic solution for finding people in an unknown area. For example a rescue operation in a burned down building. I delivered a Gazebo simulation and 3 physical robots that were able to automatically look for heart beats within an unknown area. The robots used ROS2 via a mesh network to communicate between each other and a main pc. The main pc was used to display a map of the area and highlight POI's.

I started as an intern here and spent a year afterwards as embedded software engineer to help Scentronix with their machines. I have worked on the following topics- Designing and implementing a fully automatic testing framework and pipeline for their STM32's- Creating a fully automatic calibaration tooling for the pumps used in their machine using vision and OpenCV. - Maintaining and developing their STM32 platform used in their machines.
