Obsessed with leveling the playing field in 2019, Dr. Travis Barber, Sr. has embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with 1 Mo Question Inc., a 501(c)3 centered around the vision of mentoring young children in his community. Within a few years of 1MO? launch, Dr. Barber has grown a profitable, bootstrapped brand with a team of community leaders such as local police departments, politicians, business owners and a host of volunteers.
Daily activities include, hosting food drives, speaking engagements, panel discussions, luncheons, annual events "Son Day" (fishing with a father) which caters to fatherless young children.
Dr. Barber's most current edition, 1 Mo Question Mentoring and Leadership Program has partnered with several local elementary and middle schools in Atlanta, GA. Due to his extraordinary contribution to his community, Nov. 24th has been declared as "Travis Emory Barber Day" by the City of South Fulton.
It is the mission of 1Mo? to inspire, educate, and empower at-risk youth in our community, by leading them to make positive life choices, that enables them to reach their personal potential.
We envision a community where each youth is embraced by nurturing relationships with a positive role model to help develop new skills, explore new passions and provide support through personal hardships.
