About The 100 Library Project
The 100 Library Project is an initiative to augment quality of education imparted and reduce drop-out rates at slum schools in India. The project aims at building multi-functional libraries and computer centers across 100 slum schools in Odisha, imparting better access to 50,000 children in the state. The project has also been successful in increasing enrollment and attendance of girls in the schools by tackling the biggest cause for non attendance - lack of toilets - by building fully functional toilets.
