131 & Counting is a joint initiative founded by Women in Government Relations (WGR), Women’s Bar Association (WBA) of the District of Columbia, Young Government Leaders (YGL), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), Bloomberg Government and Holland & Knight LLP (H&K).
131 Counting is a bipartisan effort dedicated to educational and networking events that bring together women public policy professionals, women congressional staff, and women lawmakers.
To accelerate the pace of progress, we shift from raising our glasses celebrating the growth of women in Congress (currently 131) to pushing up our sleeves and directing attention to the work needed to achieve gender parity across both parties.
