We are a group of people of different ages and backgrounds, united by our love for animal welfare.
Our mission is to raise awareness and change society's attitudes towards stray animals. It is the only way to stop animal cruelty, neglecting or abandonment.
Our goals are:
- To create successful and long-lasting partnerships with municipal institutions, caring for stray animals, and the non-profit sector, which supports our cause.
- To encourage more people to foster and adopt animals instead of buying or breeding. Shelters are bursting with beautiful creatures. Let's give them a chance.
- To talk with people about the benefits of neutering and spaying and how important that is for limiting the number of homeless animals.
- To organize and facilitate various social events, which focus on the problems with stray animals and their efficient solutions.
We achieve our goals through consistency and the following initiatives:
1. Each weekend, we organize dog walks in the three shelters in Sofia and make sure that every dog gets a 30-minute walk outside of its cage at least once a month. It's not enough - we know. But the more people join, the more walks each dog gets.
2. Twice a year - on Christmas and in March, we organize charitable bazaars, selling homemade treats, toys, accessories and merchandise. The money raised funds our work.
3. We organize the logistics around selecting candidates for adoption, getting medical exams and treatments, transporting them to their forever homes, and regularly checking with their new parents.
