Welcome to 15 Minute Maths! I'm Harrison Cusack, a maths education enthusiast.
Across thousands of hours working with Year 11/12 students, I’ve noticed a recurring pattern of Maths Methods students preparing poorly for their exams. Despite working hard, they struggle to pick up many of the key concepts, and often waste time practising the wrong types of questions.
Time and again, I’ve seen these same students substantially improve their grades after working with me in private tutoring sessions, and that got me thinking: is there a way that I can share my proven approach with a far wider audience, ensuring that every Maths Methods student has the opportunity to achieve to the best of their ability?
After six months of development and production, in early October, I released 15 Minute Maths, an online program providing comprehensive, to-the-point video tutorials specifically focused on the Maths Methods (Australia) curriculum. Each course contains approximately 25 videos, each with an average duration of 15 minutes and a particular focus on solving the types of problems students will face in exams.
