1973 alcoholic fruit wine is crafted with wholesome drinking in mind. The choice of the name 1973 honors the year the recipe was founded by the Spanish household winemaking family, currently partnering with Nbuntu Ltd to bring their wholesome winemaking tradition to the world.
1973 Organic is bottled, marketed, and distributed by Ubuntu Ltd - a drink and beverage coy with 5 other drink portfolios - Sparkling wine, red wine, vodka, rose, and ginger beer due to launch later in the year. However, 1973 red wine serves as our flagship product in Nigeria.
The Product
1973 alcoholic fruit wine has two core product options:
- The Legacy comes either as roots or herbs Infused, bottled as a 750ml, and sold as a single or in a 6-in-1 pizza-like carton.
- The Legacy Reserve is a limited edition of 1973 fruit wine. It comes in a handcrafted wooden case. Only 1,973 bottles are produced in a year. The Legacy Reserve will be on sale in Q1, 2024.
