Laboratorium Ekonomi Kreatif

1% LAB or Laboratorium Ekonomi Kreatif is an independent research organization which engages itself in the field of creative economy and youth development in Indonesia. Founded in 2016, 1% LAB developed a new method of learning named CREL (Creativity and Experiential Learning) an experience-based learning proven to develop 21st Century soft skills with creative intelligence as the basis, as well as fostering entrepreneurship. Within 2 years of development, 1% LAB successfully gain recognition from various high-profile institutions. Creative economy in Indonesia is still in the early stage of development. 1% LAB envision itself in creating conducive and tailored environments in which entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals in creative economy can thrive. To achieve this vision, 1% LAB is advancing its programs by providing entrepreneurial training and construct strong moral compass for aspiring creative entrepreneurs and innovators, especially youth. In the long run, 1% LAB aims to develop itself as an international organization and establish global network to support the creation of advanced economic system and environment for creative economy in Indonesia.
