1st Step Learning Partners provides ABA services to individuals with autism and related disorders. Therapy sessions are conducted in a 1:1 setting (1 therapist working with 1 child) in the home, community and school settings. Our treatments are fully personalized to each individual client, and ongoing assessments ensure that we are always targeting the right behaviors and making progress. Each client goes through an in-depth assessment (i.e., Functional Behavior Assessment) conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and other clinical team members to determine their current skill set and what skills might be improved upon. Each individualized treatment plan works to minimize the impact of the core features and associated deficits of ASD and to maximize functional independence and quality of life for our clients.
